blog - Some Thoughts about Wedding Videography

Greg's

YouTube HD Is an excellent service showing uploaded video in true 720P 1280 x 720 resolution. All future video samples will be shown this way. A great way to show your friends around the world some of your wedding video. This is at no extra cost. Just ask Greg.

Here are three examples: First Dance / Montage Church Wedding 3 and Civil Wedding 3

New Webpages

I have added a page called Events. I am now offering a Free Video Filming Service to schools and event organisers. £17.50 per fully edited DVD with scrolling credits list and using two high quality Sony Professional digital cameras. Money back £1 per copy for orders over 50

We are often asked to edit home videos on VHS, min-dv and DVDs. So we have added a new page 'Editing'. A new soundtrack can be added including the orginal or replacing the original sound as required.

Well 2009 has gone and 2010 is here

Well what a year. Lots of bad news on the financial front. The world has changed and it will change again this year and next. What are we going to do about it. On a global scale whatever we as a small video production company do it will have almost zero impact but what we have decided to do is to introduce a Value Package for £300. This will simply cover the wedding ceremony whether at a church or a civil venue. The quality will not be compromised as the same kit will be used and Greg will still do the filming and editing.

The other change is to offer a Premium package at £750. This will include the speeches at the reception and both a montage of bride and groom photos at the start and a musical montage of video stills and black and white slow motion at the end of the video. This also has options for filming the bride during the morning and extra filming to cover some of the evening. We are really trying to offer what our clients want at very realistic prices.

Why would you employ a Toastmaster?

When I first started in the wedding video business I used to think the toastmaster was an unnecessary rather pompous and costly addition to the Bride and Groom's wedding party.

How wrong I was. As I started to find my own feet I began to realise that most toastmasters were not only helpful to the bride and groom but to

the other important participants during the day such as the photographer and videographer.

Our associate business Web Video Basingstoke are producing video for Toastmasters' websites.

Have a quick look at the this short video which can get the message across better than I can.
